October 7 and 21: Wednesday evening, 1st and 3rd week of the month, 6:00pm – 9:00pm
Class Fee: $60 per session (use drop-down menu to select the dates you will attend)
Prerequisite: Basic Kiln-fired Enameling Class or equivalent
Join this Mentored Independent Study group to improve your kiln-firing skills, explore new techniques, and troubleshoot your projects in a supportive environment. Students work independently on projects and with technical guidance from the instructor. Demonstrations are tailored specifically to individual students. Biweekly classes provide access to the kilns and basic metal working tools. Basic kiln-fired enameling experience is required. The kiln will be hot when you arrive!
Students ACCESS will include:
Kiln, firing trivets, sifters, and basic metal working tools.
Students MUST Bring:
All consumable materials including metal, enamel, penny brite, drill bits, saw blades, etc. and projects to work on! No lead bearing enamels please. (copper, drill bits and saw blades are available in the studio store). Special arrangements can be made for students waiting on enamel shipments. Please contact us.
