Artist Statement: Ever forget to take your medication daily? No need to worry anymore. With the new slick Pill Pusher you are able to take your pills anytime, anywhere. No water, no problem! Just place your pill in the Pill Pusher, slip the ring onto your finger of choice and twist done until snug.

Artist Bio: Shannon Kurzyniec is a materialsmith currently studying at Virginia Commonwealth University, working and living in Richmond, VA. Shannon obtained her BFA from the James Pearson Duffy Department of Art and Art History at Wayne State University, Detroit, MI. During this time, Shannon was the Peer Mentor for the Gallery Learning Community, assisting students in understanding the inner workings of a gallery and the surrounding art community. From volunteering in 2018 to becoming the lead instructor in 2019 for the annual Mobile Arts workshops, Shannon immersed herself into her passion of creating works of art and teaching art to others.
