Artist Statement: When I saw the Yukata fabric pattern called "Bouquet of Daisies" I immediately pulled out a 13.5 ct. natural Citrine gemstone that had been waiting for its 'moment'. The gem was the starting point for the creation of this patinated copper brooch. The brooch is colorful, lively, uplifting with brilliant tones of blues and greens as the background to the citrine.

Artist Bio: Ronda Miller has been a jeweler in the Seattle area for over 15 years with studios in Pioneer Square and Fremont. She works primarily with custom jewelry and has focused recently on repurposing client's jewelry and heirlooms to contemporary wearable jewelry.
