Artist Statement: I am a frivolous, attention-getter of a ring and I'm a delight to wear- my shiny, graphic pattern makes me fun to look at and my smooth, glossy glaze makes me fun to wear. I’m most at home at a cocktail party, but delightfully frivolous at the office- I demand to be taken out. Conversation starter extraordinaire and ready to up your ante!

Artist Bio: Amy Rogers is a Toronto-based artist and designer. She studied fiber arts at the Kansas City Art Institute and multimedia at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Amy spent 10 years in New York City working at the MoMA, Martha Stewart Living, and with independent fashion and accessory designers. Through this work, Amy continued to develop her design sense as well as proficiency in hand crafts including embroidery, dyeing, knitting, and all forms of embellishment. Amy now works in clay fabricating one of a kind rings, necklaces, brooches, and earrings from her brightly-colored ceramic pieces. Her unique jewelry is sold under the name Here and Here, a nod to the connections she still holds to the many international cities she has lived in. Designing in clay satisfies Amy's inherent curiosity as she explores color, pattern, and form intuitively. She works in a free and spontaneous process designing pieces that are playful, even anti-serious. Her jewelry designs are easy-to-wear conversation-starters; fun objects all made with lighthearted, design-appreciating people in mind.
