Artist Statement: I relax into the calm, reflective waters of a koi pond. Tiny, 3-D, colorful, enameled water lilies float peacefully on an enameled pond. Wise, ancient koi glide gracefully just under the surface. Have a little moment of serenity at your finger (tips). Ring is light-weight. The enamel is powdered glass that has been melted and fused to metal. It is susceptible to cracking or breaking as any glass would be and should be worn gently. The sterling band reaches past the height of the water lilies to provide some protection, but please understand the ring is fragile and not for everyday wear.

Artist Bio: Kristina Przyjemski is concert pianist and piano teacher living in Seattle with her teen boys, husband and Stella Wilson Thornberry their goofball standard poodle. She is an avid gardener, writer and multi-media sculptor. Kristina is new to jewelry making/silversmithing and has recently fallen in love with enameling miniatures. She is grateful to Dana Cassara for her kind and generous mentorship, and to the wonderful, quirky people who create at her studio.
